Delete your account
Last updated: 5 September 2026
Use this page to request deletion of your Littles Notebook account (staff or parent) and the personal data tied to that account.
How to request account deletion
- Email hello@littlesnotebook.com from the same email address you use to sign in.
- Use the subject line Account deletion request.
- Include your full name, the email on the account, and whether you are staff or a parent. If you know your daycare name (for example Cedar Ridge), include that too.
- We will confirm the request and complete deletion within 30 days of verifying your identity, or explain if more time is required by law or safety needs.
Email account deletion request
What we delete
- Your login account (name, email, password/MFA credentials, role, notification preferences, and device push tokens)
- Parent invite or password-reset tokens tied to your account
- Links that connect your parent account to children (you will no longer see those timelines)
What we may keep
- Care records created while you were staff (attendance, meals, notes, photos, medication logs, and similar events) may remain in the daycare’s facility records for licensing, audit, and continuity of care. Those rows are owned by the provider, not by your personal login.
- Child profiles and care history stay with the daycare unless the provider also asks us to remove them.
- Append-only audit logs of sensitive changes may retain limited identifiers for security and compliance.
- Backups may contain deleted account data until those backups expire under our normal backup lifecycle.
- Legal holds: we may retain information when required to comply with law, prevent fraud or abuse, or resolve disputes.
Children do not have accounts
Children never create or use Littles Notebook accounts. Child records are managed by the daycare provider and linked parents. Deleting a parent account removes that parent’s access; it does not automatically erase the child’s care history.
